I’m excited to announce that my second novel (and first to be professionally published) will be released on 15 November!

‘Just Human’ is a young adult urban fantasy that I absolutely adored writing. Thankfully, Australian publisher Hague Publishing also loved it. We’ve been working together for nearly a year now and the story is finally coming out into the world!

Pre-orders are now available. You can read a sample of ‘Just Human’ and pre-order your Amazon e-book for $4.99 or your paperback for $28.45. It will be released through other e-book providers in March 2025.

I am so proud of this novel. Writing it allowed me to explore my passion for social justice through an urban fantasy setting. And writing in an epistolary (diary entry) style really worked for me. It also means that more people can see themselves in the main protagonist’s shoes.

Releasing a novel is a bit scary, though. I don’t know how people will interpret my characters, who I know so well. In my mind, I understand them so well, know how they think and feel, and I wanted to put so much more of their stories into the novel!

Yes, I have already started writing the sequel! 😛
