Angel Hellyer

Today is the first day that my consulting business is my full-time job! It’s incredibly exciting, while also being mildly daunting and overwhelming.

I’m lucky to already have a client organised for two days a week, which means I can concentrate the other days on getting this business working well and finding clients I can really help. I will also be working on improving my skills, with an initial focus on accessibility (which has long been a passion of mine).

I know doing this is a big risk; most small businesses don’t succeed. But I believe in what I can achieve for small businesses and non-profit organisations, especially those who do not have the time or in-house expertise to establish and maintain their communication and marketing efforts.

And my cat is certainly going to appreciate me working from home more!
