I had my first discussion with my publisher (I still love typing that!) today to discuss how we are going to market my novel.

I do marketing in my day job, but have never worked in the publishing sector. So I have lots to learn, but already many ideas and people to talk to.

It’s still hasn’t fully sunk in that Just Human will be published soon. It’s overwhelming, exciting, terrifying and so many other emotions.

I’m not expecting it to be a best seller or anything. I never wrote it to be published; I enjoy writing and thought it was a great idea that I wanted to write. But I also love that others will get to experience the novel and the hard work that went into it.
