Six weeks ago, I had a publisher I had pitched to say they loved my second novel. Cue a difficult time trying to not get too excited or hopeful (but instead just pushing it down to a simmering anxiety) after having had a publishing contract offer fall through on my first novel before signing.
However, this one get to signing! Hague Publishing will soon publish my novel, Just Human, a middle-grade epistolary urban fantasy that I absolutely loved writing.
The e-book should be out within a few months, followed shortly by the paperback. The wonderful artist Obsidian Wax is working on the cover art for me.
I can’t describe how incredible this feels. How much it means to get my story and my characters out in the world and into people’s brains. To share them and my love for them.
It will be a bit of work between now and then sorting out the marketing and such, but I’m looking forward to the journey.
